Project Description

Tri-City Animal Shelter

Tri-City Animal Shelter and Adoption Center provides exemplary care for impounded and unwanted animals through Redemption, adoption, and Public Education.

Applicants must be at least 10 years of age to apply. If they are under the age of 16 they will need a guardian that is at least 18 to supervise them. Once the application is sent and approved they will need to go through a general introduction course. These are typically scheduled when I am available and last for one hour. The activity is called General Cleaning – Introduction. I do know that the current Introductions for this month are full, but next month I will be adding more.

Activities after the Introduction consist of dog walking, dog/ cat socialization, photography, grooming, off-site events, front desk, staff assistance, and general cleaning. If they wish to move on to other activities they will need to let me know so that I will have time to go over safe handling, restraint, and cleaning protocols.

Sunday morning services will count towards double hours. Sunday activities mainly consist of general cleaning (kennels included) and dog walking from 8am- about 12/1pm depending on population.
