Project Description

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

The mission of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is to build and maintain a public garden and arboretum which promotes the art, enjoyment, and knowledge of horticulture, while providing opportunities for education and research. They have internship and volunteer opportunities.

Volunteering at the Arboretum provides a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the beauty of our 66 acres, providing a welcoming and informational atmosphere to our hundreds of thousands of visitors 362 days a year from 9am to 5pm.

Whether in direct contact with visitors or working behind the scenes with their horticultural or office staff members, you can contribute to their success in providing festivals, events, educational programs, activities, and beauty to local, national, and international visitors of all ages. Come visit with their volunteer management staff about the numerous opportunities available.
